Hardanger Basics and Beyond — $15

The "Basics" book takes you from start to finish in 51 pages. Embroiderers are enticed by six wonderful sachet projects to work the basic Hardander stitches such as Kloster Blocks, Blanket Stitches, Wrapped Bars, Woven Bars, Picots, Dove's Eyes, Filets, Spider Webs and Ship Motifs.

Featured in this 59 page booklet are fancy stitches and a fabulous three-dimensional victorian needle box project. Diagrams and instructions for 25 different stitches are included along with the pattern layout and assembly instructions for the needle box. Janice includes a preliminary advice section titled, "Love Quotes" and help for left-handed stitchers.

Both the "Basics" book and "Fundamentals" contain a glossary of stitch figures and pages of "clip art" to assist those who wish to design custom embroidery projects.
